Fashion’s Night Out 2012 – Rock with Atrium

Thursday September 6th Atrium party rocked as they celebrated Fashion’s Night Out 2012 at our Soho location on 644 Broadway.  While guests sipped on rock inspired cocktails courtesy of UV Vodka and Mercy they made their way through a carnival of activities full of tattoos, freebies and glamour.  Get the full scoop below, to check out more photos visit our Facebook album – make sure to tag yourselves!

The store was in full rock transformation including a red carpet at the entrance and rock inspired merchandising courtesy of celebrity stylist and fashion expert Daver Campbell, who was on-site providing style consultations.  In addition, guests were able to check out limited edition rock inspired pieces from Don Rebel’s t-shirt line including their exclusive Atrium FNO tees.

Notorious designer Maor Cohen, of jewelry line M.Cohen, brought his workstation in-store to create personalized product.  Guests watched the designer in action while checking out his archived Hermes scarf collection, in which a limited edition FNO piece was available for purchase.  If that’s too much for your buck, M. Cohen gave out 250 pieces to the first guests to arrive and Instagram the event.

In addition to the M.Cohen swag, Lali Lali Salon gave rock inspired makeovers fully equipped with fake eyelashes, glitter, make-up and every hair tool imaginable.  On the more permanent level, a tattoo artist was on site giving out free ink as a gift with purchase of select Messeca or Martin Kheen products.  To top it off the Cruisin’ Kitchen food truck was parked outside providing complimentary sliders and fries for the guests

Hot looks for the Opera – Cosmic Opera that is.

So what’s this talk about the opera?

Laser lights, opereratic singers, cirque de soleil-eque performances all while listening to the DJ mogul Axwell? – This is not your typical opera.  Located in the historical NY Hammerstein Ballroom, this magic-themed two night concert will mark the first chapter of the electronic event series. Axwell, the known DJ from Swedish House Mafia, is a creator and partner in the series – making it a must talked about event.   Electronic music and theatrical production will integrate into one, with never-before seen laser and lighting elements integrated with dramatic, opera-themed activations spread throughout the venue. The Audience may not realize it…but they will be part of this magical experience.

What are you wearing?

With an epical event such as this, wardrobe decisions will not be taken lightly – but don’t worry we’ve got your back.  This is a full on dance-oriented concert, so comfort here is key.  Neon silk, graphic tees, edgy metallics and animal influenced designs will be everywhere in this circus themed event.  Check out some of our essentials available in-store to keep you looking good through the epic dance marathon.  Don’t forget to add some cosmic to your beauty routine, as this is the night to go all out.  Fluorescent make-up and trippy nail decals are all the rave for spring (pun intended) so what better time to break out the this beauty trend.
